Manado, the capital city of north Sulawesi, is a favorite spot for scuba-divers and skin divers.  Clear water and abundant marine life give divers hours of fun exploring its magnificent underwater gardens. Besides this, it boasts other attractions for non-divers such as wild animals unique to the region. Many divers find Manado unforgettable because of its "underwater great walls". Formed by the coral reefs sloping down suddenly or dropping vertically into hundreds of meters of water, the structures are widespread in the area.
In 1989, thanks to the efforts of Loky Herlambang, founder of Nusantara Diving Club and the pioneering dive operator here, 75,265 hectres of underwater area around Bunaken, Manado Tua, Siladen, Montehage and Nain islands became a national marine reserve: Taman Nasional Laut Bunaken-Manado Tua.

Marine life thrives in these underwater plateaus. Keep your eyes peeled for red and orange sponges, Christmas tree worms, clownfish, colorful as well as brown starfish and turtles. Surrounded by a steep fringing reef which drops down into a 200m wall, its beautiful underwater world has often been called the Bunaken sea gardens.  
The Bunaken-Manado Tua marine reserve is world-reknowned for its shallow coral gardens and plunging walls filled with more than 3000 species of fish and the largest variety of hard and soft corals found on the planet. Visibility at Bunaken is generally 25 to 40 meters and water temperatures are warm and pleasant.

Your Dive Program is as follows: 

Day 1   Land transfer to dive resort (approx ½ hr). Follow by admin (waiver form, certification etc).Check in to resort. 1st dive will commence after settling down with rooms and equipment. Dive guides will be introduced to you and given a briefing by trip organizer.. check out dive at the house reef.  

Day 2 -  2 dives in Bunaken / Monthehage / Siladen / Manado Tua / Nain / Marine Park (Boat dive) 

Day 3 -   2 dives in Bunaken / Monthehage / Siladen / Manado Tua / Nain / Marine Park (Boat dive) 

Day 4 -   2 dives at Special HouseReef (Boat dive) 

Day 5 -    2 dives in Bunaken / Monthehage / Siladen / Manado Tua / Nain / Marine Park (Boat dive) 

Day 6 -    : Pack up/check equipment and prepare to leave dive resort. Land transfer at 1215hrs Manado time to Manado Samratulangi Airport follow by checking in.
