Diving the South China Sea - with Mv White Manta Liveaboard dive boat : Diving at the Turtle Wreck last weekend Apr 17th; is worth mentioning. Great weather throughout and we were delighted to see the residential 1.8m groupa, a 1.5m marble ray and a 2m nurse shark. Everything was gigantic at the wreck! We also didnt miss the pelagics such as schools of Barracudas, Bat fishes, travelly, golden snappers and rainbow runners. It was exciting with all (man and animal) swimming around the wreck. If you were wondering, at the Indonesian immigration at Batam Nongsa Marina, we took less than an hour to clear out on Friday night. And about one and half hour on return on Sunday evening. White Manta arrived at TMFT before 9pm. The process was smooth and without problems. FYI, we had an Indonesian Navy officer onboard the boat over the weekend. This is an arrangement with the Indonesian Navy for all trips into Indonesian waters. The Turtle Wreck is a fabulous dive site! And only 5 hours from Singapore. Mv White Manta Liveaboard boat depart from Nongsa Marina Batam. And guest board at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal with ferry to meet boat at Nongsa every friday night at 7pm and returns to Singapore on sunday night 9pm. Great boat with quad triple sharing and twin sharing cabins .
